Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWhy did I embark on the journey of writing this book and why must you read it? I am sure you will be interested in exploring Hindu religion and culture through the ages.
The influence of the Hindu religion, culture and temples can be seen all over the world. When I began writing this book, my understanding and knowledge of the religion was quite narrow. But, as I got closer to completing the book, I was astonished about the vastness of Hinduism. This isn’t a religion that has been created, it has evolved with humankind. So, will it continue to exist as long as humans exist? Can we call it an infinite religion? Read on and discover for yourself.
Thavam
Thavamurugan was born and brought up in the “ Urathur jam jamthar pattam “, a village of Ramanathapuram district, Paramakudi taluka. To this very day the village does not have a tea stall as its residents cannot contribute to its survival. Into such poverty was born Thavamuruganand his four sisters.
Inspite of all the obstacles and struggles in life, he has found success. How? The answer, books! He took up the tremendous task of reading whatever books he came across. He gained a lot of knowledge and guidance from them that helped shape his life. This also helped him author a book called ThavathinThaagam that made his parents very proud.
Thavamurugan knows nothing about laziness. He believes life should be felt and experienced to the fullest and that his life should be extraordinary and not that of a common man.
