Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIMMERSIVE EXPRESSIONS, which is a collection of my creative expressions spanning over several years. As an upcoming artist, I am excited to share my passion for painting and sketching with you through this book. My journey as an artist has been a long and unconventional one. I spent 35 years working for a Fortune 500 Maharatna Company, which kept me away
from my passion. However, after retiring, the love for art resurfaced, and I decided to pursue it wholeheartedly. I hope to inspire and encourage others to pursue their passions, no matter how unconventional they may seem. I also hope my art works evoke emotions and inspire you to appreciate the beauty of nature. I believe that art has the power to bring joy, peace, and healing to our lives.

My journey with art started when I was in 8th Class. I used to draw what ever caught my eye like a car, Bus, Tree, house, my mother felt that I can do better with some training under an art teacher. So she sent me to an Art class which was twice a week. But I could not continue and was back to square one. As a kid, I loved colors and all the beautiful images I saw in magazines. I loved it so much that I decided to start recreating those images which I liked at first glance. I enjoyed drawing and I started with HB pencil and then tried my hand at smooth charcoal. I did the drawing of Veer Savarkar and Jesus and I was encouraged by my family which increased my desire to improve further. However, as Art wasn’t a profession then I had to shift my preferences and my passion for art was pushed down to stay dormant for a long time.
