S.A. Srinivasa Moorthy (Moorthy) is an M.Tech from NIT Karnataka with over three decades of experience in electronics product design and manufacturing. He has led the design of complex products across different industries like Automotive, Avionics, Medical Devices, Industrial, Telecom and Networking that meet global standards. He has set up global design centers and strategic organizations for MNCs and state governments. Moorthy set up India’s first Private Test Laboratory for product testing and certification. He developed pioneering “DEFINE” framework for product design. Moorthy authored a chapter in the book The Internet of Things: Foundation for Smartcities, eHealth & Ubiquitous Computing. He is the founder-director of Nimaya Robotics Pvt. Ltd—a startup focused on Robotics for children with Autism. Also, as a director of D4X Technologies Pvt. Ltd—a high-end design consulting house—he develops IoT solutions and educational technology solutions. He also mentors startups in Internet of Things, Connected Vehicle Platforms and Electrical Vehicle related technologies. He contributes technical articles to leading journals, magazines and a passionate teacher.
