Pallabita Bora Phukon is a non-conformist, a dreamer who did a series of teaching jobs for over 10 years after completing her post-graduation. She embarked on a few entrepreneurial ventures after that but decided to quit everything and concentrate on writing, which she had always wanted to do and started a travel blog. Three years into consistent writing, she has finally shaped her first dream into reality with her first book, Jajabor: Wanderlust Assam.
She is a mother to a two and half years old toddler and two exceptionally ‘well-behaved’ dogs who keep her busy when she's not writing.
