Dr Varsha Narsingrao Mahavarakar has studied in Jijamata Kanya Prashala, Latur. she has completed her Higher Secondary School education from a very renowned college from Latur- Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur. She has completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Latur and Postgraduation in Community Medicine from Rural Medical College, Loni. Currently she is working as Associate Professor in Department of Community Medicine, Dr Balasaheb Vikhe Patil , Rural Medical College, Loni, PIMS (DU), Loni. Her PG Dissertation has been graded with 'A' grade and has received Dissertation Grant from RNTCP- Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme. She has teaching experience of almost 8 years. She has edited the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Journal of Community Medicine as per the CBME guidelines by National Medical Commission (NMC). She has worked as NSS (National Service Scheme) Programme officer, Rural Medical College, Loni for consecutive 3 years. She has conducted many Sensitization workshops on Menstrual Cup and menstrual hygiene. She has also conducted workshops on Prevention of Covid in school for School teachers and non teaching staff of school. She has given Radiotalks on Menstrual Hygiene, Prevention of Covid in Children. She has published 8 publications in National and International Journals. She has developed Crossword and Puzzles in Community Medicine - a new gamified method of teaching and learning and is planning a book on Crosswords in Community Medicine. She has guided Postgraduate student of MPH (Masters in Public Health). She is adjunct faculty for MPH and Physiotherapy college.
