My humorous conviction is ‘don’t be serious’ about life but be aware and proactive. My serious conviction is ‘be humorous’ and laugh as much. Right thinking makes you a better person and light humor makes you laugh away worries.
Joyram
The author, Ramasubramanian Thyagarajan (Penname: Joyram), was born in Chennai in a family of eleven. After graduating in commerce and qualifying as a Cost Accountant (presently known as ICMA) he had a long career in Accounts and Internal Audit functions with M/s.BHEL, a PSU at its Hyderabad production unit. As a part-time faculty and trainer in his company’s training centre, he motivated and inspired many employees, especially youngsters with his energetic and humorous lectures and training.
After superannuating from BHEL, Joyram wanted to realize some of his ambitions which he could not pursue vigorously while in service. He is a humorist by nature and a man of philosophical thoughts. He has a passion for writing and singing. To date, he has published two books 1. Take Whatever You Want (Life tips, motivation, and philosophy), and 2. It is twenty still plenty (compilation of short stories). Presently his two Tamil books are in the pipeline of publication; one is about his thoughts, opinions and life experiences and the other is dedicated to humor.
A man of compassion, he attaches great importance to helping people, especially the downtrodden. He loves to greet his friends and relatives with his unique and innovative poetic compositions. Meditation and brisk walking are part and parcel of daily routine for this disciplined person. He prefers to spend most of his time with his spouse, with whom he travels around often. He sings in the singing online apps ‘Starmaker’ and ‘Smule’ in Tamil and Hindi languages.
