This book is a collection of poems that speak about a range of things – from life to love to everything in between. The poems explore the essence of human life, the intricacy of human emotion, poetry as an art in itself and what it means to the author. It is the protagonist’s journey of understanding herself, of making sense of her hopes, dreams and struggles.
Our journeys are unique and the possibilities are endless. As one of the poems says “We’re many things at once” and we’re all on the path to becoming our own person. The author uses poetry to shed light on the emotional turmoil of growing up, the need to normalize talk about mental health and the revival of empathy.
