Madhav J Joshi
Madhav, 70 years, is an advisor at Tata Teleservices Ltd. He was President – Legal & Regulatory of Tata Teleservices Limited for 14 years and before that he was Executive Director at Bayer Industries for 5 years and CFO, Company Secretary and legal head in Windsor machines for 13 years. In 1984, he founded the Dombivli Chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and was President for 7 years. Madhav has been in telecom since 1998. He was the All India President of the mobile operators’ association for 2 terms. He has made major contributions in matters relating to telecom policies and regulations and development of telecom. He was President of the Thane Manufacturers’ Association and was instrumental in getting liberalized the location policy for non-polluting industries.
In the tradition of giving back to society, he spends a significant part of his income on helping social causes like assistance for payment of school/college fees, medical assistance, environment protection awareness and promotion of cultural cause through a public charitable trust ‘Shree Laxmi Narayan Sanstha’; set up by him in the memory of his grandparents.
He has written a book in Marathi, Mazi Corporate Dindi on his 50-year career in the corporate field. This was published by Granthali in May 2022, and two editions have been already sold.
