Roma (mypeacefulnoise)

Peaceful Noise, My Inner voice is a collection of poems with journal prompts by Roma who likes to be known by her pen name “mypeacefulnoise”.

She is from a small town in India, fascinated by the spirituality, wisdom, and mystics of her motherland, and is attracted by the freedom and ingenuousness of western culture.

She is an IT Professional with an MBA degree who came across computers for the first time when she was in 10th standard and working on computers became her “society acceptable” dream. All others were too weird to be accepted by the society she was living in.

Little did she understand the difference between dreams and passion.

She was an introvert, and like any introvert, she had a hard time expressing herself and accepting the environment in which she was growing up. Hence, she started writing and pouring all her emotions into her personal diary.

This is her first poetry journal. She wants her readers to feel the emotions that are hidden somewhere inside them. In her journey of self-introspection, self-discovery, and self-healing, she has found that the two most important steps to heal or transform are recognize and accept.

Her poetry here is just the recognition of her feelings that simply “exist.”
