Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis is a book of a collection of poems by Ranesh Ray. Poet says:
Being a new entrant in the yard of poems of the liter- ary world at this old age I was hesitant to write poems in English as my knowledge in English is very limited. When I remained bedridden after my cancer operation in 2012, just to keep my confidence awake, I started writing poems in my mother tongue, Bengali. After some time, I felt the urge to write in English. With my translation work I showed the audacity to write a few poems in English in original and take them to my friend, Mukul Bhattacharya, a writer and critic. He gave me the confidence to write more. It is his endeavor that helped me to write more and more leading to a big volume of works of which this book is a part. I requested him to be entrusted with the tough job of editing the work of this immature and poorly fed writer with the possibility of silly mistakes. Bhattacharya gladly accepted my request and got it done creditably to prepare the book. Without his encouragement and active support the work could not be completed.
