Rupda Ry Lato
Miss Rupda RY Lato, the youngest daughter of Shri Riquoma Rq. Laloo and Smt Yoobina Lato of Panaliar Jowai. She had started her carrier as a writer since the age of 11 and published a book named ‘Lie & Lost’. The book was released by the Deputy Commissioner of the District Jaiñtia Hills, Shri T. Dkhar,IAS at his office’s conference hall and she was awarded a Cash Award and announced as the Youngest Writer in the State by the District head.
She had taken part as a child heroine in the film ‘Man Isa’ and ‘Saphika’, a Jaiñtia Movies and as the main role in the first Children’s Film in Meghalaya, named ‘Ham Kheiñke’.
She represented her school, Mount Hermon School, Darjeeling as one of the Basket Ball Player during the Inter School Basket Ball Competition held at Sikkim. She used to take part in the ‘Tree Plantation’; Myntdu River’s Cleaning Drive’ and ‘Traditional Group Dance’ organized by her locality. She is one of the local artist of AIR, Jowai
Rupda had created her own YouTube Channel named ‘Fit with Rupda’. At present, she hold a title – Rubaru Miss India Elite 2023.
