Ekta Abhay Lather was born and raised in Delhi. She graduated from Miranda House (Delhi University). Prior to pursuing her dream of becoming a storyteller, Ekta worked with many international and government organizations such as UNDP, UNAIDS, BBC Media Action, National Film Development of India and Digital India. She now lives in Toronto with her husband. Besides writing, she also loves traveling and photography. She especially likes to shoot portraits and scenes from the streets.
