Riva Gandhi (Age – 12)
“Smiling face of every little girl is the signature of God’s presence” and so is our little author Riva Gandhi lives in Mumbai studying in class 7th. Riva loves reading, travelling and dancing. She is passionate and inclined towards art and has mastered her skills in drawing (acrylic, canvas, crayon and graphite), doodling, calligraphy and mandala art. She is a foodie explores lot of exotic dishes and partners with her mother to experiment in the kitchen!
Under the able guidance of her Guru Dr. Sandhya Purechaji, she is getting trained in Indian Classical dance “Bharatnatyam”. She started at the tender age of 5 and is in her 8th year.
Riva loves reading, her inquisitiveness in mythological stories and watching ‘Ramayana’ episodes aired on Doordarshan during the pandemic in 2020 along with ‘Siya ke Ram’ episodes on Disney Hotstar engrossed a deep feeling in Riva about the epic tale. She was very much inspired by character of “Sita” all the hardship and supreme sacrifices made to protect her integrity is a real-life lesson for today’s generation.
An inspiration from her mother and her infatuation about Sita’s character and her life made her pen this beautiful book in her own version starting at the age of 10!!
