Caroline Mathew
Dr. Caroline Mathew is an educationist with forty years of teaching experience. Though she has been writing poems for the past three decades to articulate her thoughts and emotions towards various circumstances of life, Reflection is her first anthology.
Writing poems is a hobby to her and she pursues it passionately. She is an ardent lover of the natural world and her poems express her deep distress and concern on the destruction of environment. Her poems vividly dwell on a variety of human emotions connected to life situations and draws lessons from it.
Born and brought up in the emerald green Andaman & Nicobar Islands, she is very close to Nature and cannot bear to see it being lost. She works as the principal of a school and lives in Port Blair with her husband and children. Apart from her routine work, she loves to spend time with her family, read books, enjoy nature and groom her garden.
