Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalYou all have experienced that a sting from any insect is painful. The most painful sting that you can get is from a scorpion. It may even bleed you to death if not treated.
But the beauty is that our political class has become highly immune to stings even from a scorpion; even the deadliest of vipers cannot harm them for their skin is as thick as the Chobham armour; nothing can pierce it!
Scorpio Stings are unbiased, undiluted and unedited impromptu reflections scripted by me from time to time mainly out of frustration on weird NEWS items that tend to endanger the harmonious social fabric of this so-called God’s own country, as also India in general. At times these are not short, but a bit long. Kindly bear with me!
Out of curiosity during these COVID holidays, I attempted to read through all these stings once again as I had plenty of time and patience at my disposal. I am pretty convinced that Churchill’s words hold good verbatim even now, in 2023.
Hence I am presenting ‘Scorpio Stings” with the fervent hope of getting a fair deal from an ardent fraternity of book lovers.
