Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalOur generation is forgetting to utilize the capacity to observe and listen to the narratives that exist in our surroundings. We have become narrators with an addiction to monologues. We say someone is false and we are the only correct ones among a group of people. The angel of tolerance has left us. We have become accomplices of evil by using violence to silence those who are narrators, especially when they tell stories about our shortcomings. We never realize that because stories are all-permeating phenomena, they are never truly silenced. Once we inflict violence upon a storyteller, he or she is resurrected in a splendid multiplication of the stories he or she died telling.
We are the stories we live.
“Each person is a story, each life is a story. Each incidence of our life is a lesson. And this book is the essence, lessons, and stories of each of us.”
