The anthology named, The Dark Wings depicts many aspects of life an individual goes through including the blessings/ happy moments or the difficulties that come by, that’s when they trust their wings to break through the obstacles and reach their destination.
During our life, we come across different paths leading to their respective destinations through many hurdles. It would be a lie to say life is easy; it was never supposed to be, humans themselves have evolved through the theory of ‘survival of the fittest. As the name describes, the dark wings, even include the darker aspects of our life that restrain us from achieving our wings, like the undesired temptations, ego, delusions, depression and other situations that pull us away from success. Success here refers to maybe your life goals, a successful career, a sorted love story, or will to live a contented life.

Ananya, a 17-year-old girl from the state of Uttar Pradesh is the same. Nothing too significant but a girl with different thoughts and theories she wants to word out. Just another soul who is attracted by the mesmerizing universe of poetries, stories and the dynamics that a writer holds the power to create. She enjoys multiple hobbies along with writing and hopes one day the power of the pen might do wonders in shaping the world.

Prangya Panda, 19 years old from Rourkela, Odisha with big dreams in her eyes to pursue her graduation at Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur in Commerce. She is an ardent lover of the mighty sword and every time put herself on depicting today's world. She has been penning down her thoughts and quotes since 2018 as her hobby on the Your Quote writing app and for the last few months on her Instagram page @writerbymistake. Her first and last priority is always her family. She already is a published author in various anthologies of various publication houses and presently she is working as a “ Project Head” in The Writer's Platform Publication.
