Prashant Gupta, or PG, is an award-winning internet innovator, India policy advisor and community leader with more than two decades of experience in driving connected empowerment and improving lives of marginalized population.
PG began his career in America as an immigrant contributing to success of global technology platforms, starting with transformation of cell phone into a mobile information device including the Motorola Razr and then a decade in building Microsoft Azure cloud, the world’s computer. In 2012, PG co-founded Microsoft Accelerator for Startups, a joint effort between India, Israel, and China R&D centers becoming one of the leading startup mentoring programs as it graduated many successful tech businesses.
With this memoir, PG has articulated the philosophy of collective well-being; it’s a conscious reflection from his own experiences of setting up global health consortia in cardiology, eye care, and pathology, cross-border collaborations in sustainability during covid-19 pandemic and completing 108 interfaith pilgrimages across five continents. PG holds a MS degree from the University of Florida and an MBA in Marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a recipient of the IEEE Larry K. Wilson Award for Asia- Pacific region, the Lt. Governor Gold Medal at the University of Delhi College of Engineering in 1998, and the Alumni Trailblazer Award in 2018.
