The young author, Syead Wahabuddin Nasir, has visited many national parks, tiger reserves and wildlife sanctuaries in India and Nepal, including world-famous Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve, Ranthambhore National Park, Kaziranga National Park, Bandipur National Park, Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary, Valmiki Tiger Reserve, Sunderbans and Chitwan National Park.

The author has been interested in wildlife and conservation since his school days. When he was still in school, the author wrote a detailed account of his visit to Corbett and other national parks. This was published in the form of a book entitled Wonderful Days in Tigerlands, in the year 2012.

At present, Syead is a final-year student of B.Sc. Botany (honours) at the illustrious Patna Science College, Patna University, one of the oldest and prestigious universities of India.

The author is keenly interested in studying wildlife. He is an amateur wildlife activist and a regular visitor to tiger reserves. He aspires to become a forest officer and contribute in conservation efforts.
