Deepa Iyer grew up in Mumbai and completed her Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Adelaide. After serving in the corporate sector for a few years in IT and Financial Planning, she decided to quit in order to follow her creative pursuits.
Having grown up on a steady diet of Amar Chitra Katha and Panchatantra comics, Deepa is passionate about bringing to life the rich tapestry of traditional Indian tales to today’s children who grow up with YouTube and Harry Potter.
Besides being a music lover, she loves traveling and being with nature. Deepa currently lives in Singapore with her husband and daughter. She can be contacted via the following channels:
