Dr. K. V. Sahasranam MD, DM, FACC, FCSI, did his MBBS and MD courses in General Medicine fro the Medical College, Calicut, Kerala, India. He completed his DM course in Cardiology from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Chandigarh. He has authored more than 45 scientific publications and has many presentations in Continuing Medical Education programs to his credit.
He has been passionate about teaching medical students and his bedside clinical classes and training on ECG interpretation are very enthusiastically sought after by his students.
He is a former Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology at the Medical College, Calicut and the Past President of the Kerala Chapter of the Cardiological Society of India.
He is retired and settled in Dallas, Texas, United States of America.
