Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalOnly When You Become A Villain, You’ll Become A Hero
Everything seem to be falling apart before I started writing this book, until that one night when I decided to tell this story - My story.
This is a story of a simple woman who grew up in a refugee colony, in a lower-middle-class family, struggling to even get proper food; eventually getting married, having kids and choosing to walk away from the marriage - all before turning 20.
This is a story of a woman who hustled every moment of her life. She started to work as a nanny, a teacher, a telecaller, and from there to reaching this place where she currently heads sales for PVR Cinemas in South India and Sri Lanka is an extraordinary story of grit, determination, and pure perseverance.
From thinking of ending her life despite the abundance she gained to becoming a women's career coach, she came a long way.
I hope you get to read the journey of this simple woman who made herself a 'S'hero in her own eyes and within the industry. If she can do it, you can do it too.
Meena Chabbria
Meena Chabbria, a seasoned sales professional, women's career coach, and single mother is lovingly called ‘PVR Don’, after being at PVR for 13 years in various roles. She is currently serving as their AVP for Brand Alliances, leading business for PVR in Southern India and Sri Lanka.
Growing up in a lower-middle-class family, she didn’t have it easy. Her first job was at a preschool where she had to wipe children’s legs clean.
Eventually, she joined Shaimak Davar’s business as a telecaller. Within six months of joining, impressed by her performance, Shaimak Davar promoted her to the business manager of the South Zone, essentially changing her life. Switching to INOX from there, then finally to PVR, kickstarted her success story.
During the pandemic, she got educated herself by doing various courses from UCLA, IIM, ISB, and MICA.
With her experience and knowledge, she started coaching women as she thought there are many women out there who are stuck and unable to find a voice through a proprietary coaching tool called 'The Shero Mindset' that she created from her own life experiences.
Currently, she is on a mission to empower 100,000 women to become global leaders.
