In this book, which is for Class VI – XI, students, we have covered a number of advanced topics in mathematics, viz. Division of numbers, Square roots and Cube roots, Division of algebraic expressions, Factorization of Quadratic expressions; Linear, Non-liner and Quadratic equations; LCM and HCF of numbers and algebraic expressions; Equations of straight lines and Conics. Several worked out examples and exercises with answers are included.
K.V.S. Rama Rao
Prof. K.V.S. Rama Rao taught Physics at IIT Madras and has guided Ph.D. students and published a number of research papers in International Journals. After retirement, he worked in an NGO looking after the school education. This lead to his interest in writing the book “Vedic Mathematics – Fun and Easy Way’ – Vol 1 for Class I – VI students. It has a good response from students, teachers and parents alike. This encouraged him to write Vol 2. Occasionally, he gives lectures to school children on ‘Vedic Mathematics’ and ‘Physics’ to inspire them.
