Dhrunika belongs to a small hilly township named as Haflong in Assam, which is fondly called as Switzerland of Assam. She started writing at the tender age of nine years. And now she is sixteen. Born to a family who are in the profession of teaching, the author has develop a desire to help people who are in destitute. She is always influenced by all the creations of God and has weakness for photography and never fails to capture its beauty in her camera.
She went to a Convent School and then to a Public School and has built up a liberal mind and ever helpful nature. She is also very passionate towards co-curricular activities like dance and recitation. Her ability to recite has always been a subject of appreciation.
Her poems are bold, energetic and full of passion. Her poems reflect her maturity of thoughts and powerful feelings. She uses the gifts of nature as a powerful component to human emotions.
