Dr. Ravikant R. Upasani was born on September 23, 1955, in Chunar District, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His academic and professional journey is nothing short of impressive. Dr. Sheela Barla was born on January 5, 1971, in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Her early education was rooted in Ranchi, and she continued her academic journey by pursuing both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Agronomy at Birsa Agricultural University, also located in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Sheela Barla has held various pivotal roles within the university. In these roles, she actively engaged in research, teaching, and extension activities, contributing significantly to the field of agronomy. Furthermore, her dedication to education and mentorship is underscored by her guidance of approximately eight students through their M.Sc. degree programs, a testament to her commitment to nurturing the next generation of scholars. She was also associated with All India Coordinated Research on Weed Research; Millet and Rapeseed Mustard & currently associated with State plan of research, other research and extension activities of University.
