As soon as the pandemic started and lockdown was initiated, a Dove (couple) visited our home. Came for few days, sat by the window sil in a way as if asking for permission to stay indoors to make nest, lay eggs and nurture their young ones.
We welcomed them in.
Soon they started bringing twigs, dry branches, and various other things to build their nest. They started in the wee hours of the morning and whatever they could do, they used to complete by around 11:00 A in the morning.
Soon after, one Dove started to Stay back in the evening. This is when we understood, that it has laid eggs and the rest is a Nice Journey....
