Being the only bachelor amongst my married friends and colleagues, I was often asked why haven’t I got married.
Any number of reasons won’t satisfy their curiosity. There was only one friend who really lauded my decision of not having got married. He craved for his single status once again.
Ironically, he had a love marriage but the wedded bliss soon got over and he accepted that now he was a dutiful family man and a husband and that too a harried one at that.
His experience had made him a kind of a philosopher who had developed a set of rules and philosophy as to how to navigate the choppy seas of marriage.
This book My Harried Married Friend- Tips to Navigate through Marriage is a compilation of his insights, unwritten rules, wisdom and wise-cracks supplemented with a dash of funny and famous quips on married life, and garnished with a fair sprinkling of humor.
