The easiest way to learn phonics is to introduce them along with the names of the letters. Phonetic Skill Book has stories related to the 26 letters of the alphabet and their beginning sounds with lots of pictures. Children will learn the beginning sounds and gradually be able to combine them to form words.

Ruchi Gandhi Chawla is a teacher at St. Xavier’s High School, Gurugram. She has been teaching pre-nursery and nursery children for the last 10 years. She started her career as a journalist at the The Asian Age.
