This book is a unique effort towards stringing together contrasting genres of poetry from diverse regions of the world. Works by leading poets from Uzbekistan, The Netherlands, Germany and India have been featured in this compilation that aims to offer the reader a deep look into life’s myriad aspirations, trials and triumphs. Each author makes an honest attempt to disambiguate the emotive scream of the subconscious – some between the lines and some others in complete poetic freedom. Abandoned to blank verse, most of the poems appear to be taking a liminal path, creating and shifting paradigms where there was none. It is this quest that keeps the book far removed from an archetypal anthology. Eponymous individually, the themes of the poems are together a rare concert of humanity. We hope the book touches a chord with you and makes all poets, heard and unheard of, thrive in our collective exile from the unreal and the ersatz.
