Poetry Chorus II is a liminal voyage that pursues the motif of emotions as the only life-form. In this compilation, poets from Singapore, Germany and India touch off chords that they want us to hear so that we discover life’s nuances that lie ignored beneath the marquee of our everyday existence. Metered or blank verse, each work in this collection mirrors our aspirations, milestones and near-misses, striving unflinchingly to overwhelm the obvious with creative anarchy. Reading this compilation is like listening to a chorus diverse in diatonic scales but united in harmonies. The compilation challenges the status quo and rigid algorithms that hold our senses and conscience to ransom. It is hoped that this book would spring you a pleasant surprise when it is raining outside or when you wish to recoil into your self-exile to rediscover yourself, even if it is for a few moments. Poetry Chorus II is compiled by Roymans and edited by Barid Baran. The contributing writers are Ashwani Kumar, Binayak Bandopadhyay, Albert Ashok, Ayan Chatterjee, Bhagyashri Roy, Dr. Leena Sarkar, Prathit Singh, Rakesh Gupta, Roymans, Sayanti Dutta, Subarna Nag, Sprezza Tura, and Traude Fuchs.
This book is a unique effort towards stringing together contrasting genres of poetry from diverse regions of the world. Works by leading poets from Uzbekistan, The Netherlands, Germany and India have been featured in this compilation that aims to offer the reader a deep look into life’s myriad aspirations, trials and triumphs. Each author makes an honest attempt to disambiguate the emotive scream of the subconscious – some between the lines and some others
Each author makes an honest attempt to disambiguate the emotive scream of the subconscious – some between the lines and some others in complete poetic freedom. Abandoned to blank verse, most of the poems appear to be taking a liminal path, creating and shifting paradigms where there was none. It is this quest that keeps the book far removed from an archetypal anthology. Eponymous individually, the themes of the poems are together a rare concert of humanity. We hope the book touches a chord with you and makes all poets, heard and unheard of, thrive in our collective exile from the unreal and the ersatz. This Volume of Poetry Chorus is compiled by Roymans and edited by Barid Baran. Contributing poets are Subodh Sarkar, Aswin Kumar, Rijurekh Chakravarty, Balaka Datta, Bijoy Bhakat, Dtipta Roy, Natun Gonsai, Riya Chakrabarti, Bhagyashri Roy (Sanchari), Sayanti Dutta, Subarna Nag, Sekhar Sengupta, Shakhnoza Razikova, Traude Fuchs. The audio book contains recitation of all poems by Chandreyee, Supratik, Pallab Kirtonia, Roymans, Sayanti Dutta and Subarna Nag.

This book is aimed at those professionals in the marketing and sales domains who aspire to be rainmakers for their respective organisations and stay ahead of peers. Based on author Dr. Manas G. Roy’s thirty years of engagement as a leading marketing professional across six continents, Inroads to Marketing imparts critical marketing lessons that we either refuse to learn or ignore due to our preconceived notions. As the book rightly says, a great deal of money is wasted due to bad advertising, poor personal selling and similar unwise moves every day. Plucking unseen and very interesting data from a treasure trove of experiences, Inroads to Marketing tells us that eighty per cent of the sales force never properly ask for an order from their customers or remain busy with the most unprofitable product mix. Equally interesting is the fact that more than twenty-five per cent of sales are customer-directed, contrary to what most believe as sales-driven. During the upswing of a business cycle, a large part of sales and marketing or even advertising fraternities start thinking of themselves as harbingers of good luck. These are the very people who are quick to blame their poor performances on market downturns. Such marketing realities and more should make this book a gripping read. Above all, the book is a stark reminder of a simple truth: it’s easy to enter the sales and marketing profession, but to become an effective marketer is a long haul.

For the first time in the history of Indo-Anglican literature, Bleeding Tears is bringing to readers ballads and poems in English written by a poet of Indian origin under one single umbrella. Abandoning himself to sharp pangs of emotions, author Roymans has turned so-called poetic norms upside down with the ballads that are forever a part of his life. The author’s early days as a guitarist with a band at the Gottingen Park in Canada’s east coast, its every day squalor, and the pursuit for life despite its many trials are the cornerstone of this unique compilation. From the slums of Gottingen and street music to shared strivings in the sleazy ghetto of Halifax, Roymans’ ballads are a carefully crafted saga of human aspirations; of the desperate zeal to turn life around; of the ‘have-beens’ and ‘have-nots’ who remained nameless, faceless in Gottingen nights. Clutching his roots, he kept returning to his family back home in "Even when you’re not in mind" and at the same time remembered the hapless woman who worked the dark street-corners for a living in Ghetto of Gottingen. The tears that he shed for an unheard sweep of humanity in the title ballad "Bleeding Tears" touch off myriad emotions that humanity so desperately tries to control. This book sits on the fragile line between all that should have been and everything that could easily be.
