Modern lifestyle across the globe is being driven by the motivation to be a 'success' in life by all means, which has led to having anxiety and stress as part and parcel of everyone's life. Unless anxiety and stress end up wrecking one's emotional life needing psychiatric treatment, they can be managed very well using abundant spiritual wisdom available in Hinduism. This book does not offer any 'modern guide' that tends to discourage faith in God or spirituality. The traditional wisdom offered in the book can lead the reader to pause, do introspection, and take corrective actions to set right life, so as to gain peace and stability.

C. V. Rajan
C.V. Rajan is a retired Mechanical Engineer and ex-design consultant. He is now living with his wife at the Ashram at Amritapuri, Kerala, spending his retired life in the quest of spirituality under the holy feet of Amma, Sadguru Mata Amritanandamayi.
His interest in writing as a hobby began at the age of twenty, and he became a regular short story writer in popular Tamil magazines during the seventies to nineties. He wrote under the pen name Sandeepika.
As his interest turned to spirituality in his late thirties, he became an avid reader of the lives and teachings of Kanchi Maha Swamigal, Swami Chinmayananda, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, Swami Sivananda Saraswati, Papa Ramdas, and his Sadguru, Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma).
In his early fifties, his Tamil articles began appearing in Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam magazine. He also started writing in English on the web at various blog sites, covering a variety of topics such as Hinduism, spirituality, life and living, personal anecdotes, Indian culture, small business management, and more. He contributed to translation work at Ramakrishna Math (English–Tamil) and currently does similar work at Mata Amritanandamayi Math (Tamil–Malayalam–English).
He writes stories for children too. Several of his Tamil short stories for children have been released as audiobooks on well-known platforms such as Kadhai Osai, Storytel, Apple Podcast, and Audible. One of his recent works in Tamil children's literature is Valmiki Ramayanam for children aged 9 to 15. First serialized as a conversational narrative in the Kadhai Osai channel in a 100-part series, it has also been published as a two-volume eBook.

In the last couple of years, he has also been actively writing in both English and Tamil on the popular website Quora.com.
