Perhaps I'll never know - A poem.

by Akash Dhotre

How does it feel, to fall in love?

Perhaps I'll never know.

How does it feel, to hold her hand, to hold her tight, to tell her you love her and mean it?

Perhaps I'll never know.

How does it feel, to sit on a bench with her, and watch the sun go down,

hand in hand, to make promises never meant to be broken?

Perhaps I'll never know.

How does the first kiss feel, the first hug? How does it feel to be lost in one another?

Perhaps I'll never know.

How does it feel, to have someone to confide in, someone you can trust?

How does it feel to stand by her, to not let go through all the ups and downs?

Perhaps I'll never know.

Are there no more people left,

who don't judge by skin, but by soul?

And accept us with our flaws,

rather than find someone "perfect"?

How does it feel, to watch everybody around you happy,

How does it feel, to be alone, to have only solitude to confide to,

Perhaps YOU will never know.
