Ekta Bhatnagar

Ekta Bhatnagar studied Mass communication at Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai. She started working with the Times Journal of Photography and then moved into Client Servicing at an advertising agency. After this she chose to work at a leading Finance company, ENAM Securities, while completing a MBA in Human Resource and Communication from Welingkar University, Mumbai. She started the in-house newsletter and the Corporate Social Responsibility cell at ENAM where she worked for 3 years. She married a Defence officer in 2009 and started working as a Teacher in Mumbai. She continued teaching English, Environmental studies and Computer Science to students in Punjab as well. Her love for writing took shape from 2009 and she has been freelancing since then. She has written articles on management, education and travel for various websites and publications, including IIM-A website: www.paycheck.in, DNA- Mumbai and Jetwings Magazine. She has also freelanced for a children’s web magazine- www.mocomi.com for 2 years. She also writes travel blogs for www.indiauntravelled.com. She currently makes presentations and writes for www.kamyabology.com She keeps moving from one place to another, within the country, with her husband, her toddler daughterand her dear dog- Daisy.
