With a Ph.D. in Psychology of Music and a distinguished career as an Indian Classical Vocalist, she's earned a reputation as a leading expert. With a rich educational background from Yale University and Berklee College of Music, Dr. Mishra is dedicated to advancing music therapy globally. Her extensive research, spanning over 70 publications , investigates the complex connections between music, personality, and behavior.
With a background in renowned institutions like Bhatkhande Vidyapith, Banasthali University, and the University of Mauritius, she serves as a Guest Faculty, Research Supervisor, and Project Coordinator. Dr. Mishra has worked as a Senior Music Psychologist and Therapist. A trained multi-style Yoga Teacher, she believes in harmoniously integrating music, yoga, and mindful nutrition for enhanced well-being. As the author of books like "Mystical Reflection of Music on Personality and Behavior," "The Elements of Aesthetics, Psychology, and Philosophy of Music," and "Musically Inclined Personality and Behaviour," Dr. Mishra's deep compassion for the human experience shines through engaging workshops and motivational speaking.
