The life of a salesperson is not easy. It is filled with challenges, competitions, expectations, forecasts, and numbers. Also, there are phenomenons like targets, projections, monthly achievements, cold calls, lead generations, follow-ups, customer relationship management (CRM), etc., which tremendously impact each salesperson’s career. Suppose the author has to borrow a metaphor from his primary teacher’s vocabulary about how the teacher used to explain mathematics as a (tougher one, as it may seem in the beginning) subject to his students; sales, as a career, is like a coconut - very hard from the outside, but when broken with required skill and efforts, soft and juicy inside. A sales job may look hard and tiresome from the outside; however, when you immerse yourself in its various tasks, a flow will be generated that takes you from the most fundamental principle to the top most advanced stages.

‘The Salesman’s Luck’ is written for those who consider luck to be planned, designed, operated, and managed.
This book is dedicated to all the busy people out there. You may be among them.
As you will read from the introduction, busyness is of two kinds - one kind will make you busy and give you results, and the other will also make you busy but won’t give any results. This book is written to address the second kind of busyness. And the intention behind writing this book is to make you think about why and how your busyness is not benefiting you. A

As you will read from the introduction, busyness is of two kinds - one kind will make you busy and give you results, and the other will also make you busy but won’t give any results. This book is written to address the second kind of busyness. And the intention behind writing this book is to make you think about why and how your busyness is not benefiting you. As this book is written to make it land in the hands of busy people who have no time to spare to spend on tasks that needs patience, especially reading a book, the author made the content - condensed, compressed, and concentrated to as few words as possible.
If the author has to highlight the readers who can benefit from reading this book, then it will be those who are busy running the race without realizing where is the finishing point, what are the rules of the race, and where the race track is through which they have to run. This book is for those who do not have time to read, time to think, time to reflect, and time to act - yet, precisely, they are the ones who shall be doing all of those four things religiously - read, think, reflect and act. This is true, especially for the busyness that yields no benefits or positive outcomes.
When a book is written, it has a purpose. It can entertain its reader or help them build a world of imagination and fantasy around them. Some books will take their readers to a faraway distant land, a time zone, or a future no one has ever seen. Some of the books are journals that record incidents and events. Books are also written to answer Why-What-How-When questions.

If you are an artist or someone who keeps creative elements in your bones, you have already realized the similar ‘How’ question. When people discover their creative DNA, they become dedicated to their artistic selves. So much so that even if they cannot pursue an active career in that field, they may keep a side hustle, or at least they will live in resentment and regret, much like how one feels when they failed to marry their love and then left to live with broken hearts with someone they are ‘ok’ with.
This book is written to answer the 'How' question in three parts:
Make the artist in you: Here, you will learn how to make and nurture the artist in you, and you will read ten fundamental principles or commandments that will transform an artist from an amateur to a pro.
Trade your creativity: In this part of the book, you will read about the qualities needed to earn a living from artistic talents through intelligent trading methods.
Master the game: In this part of the book, you will comprehend how to leap further in your artist career and master the whole game.

Career and success are two such words that can have different meanings and understandings one wishes to have. This book is written as the first of many baby steps we may undertake to bring that giant leap in our career. Career and success are two such words that can have different meanings and understandings one wishes to have. So, when I make a humble effort to put these two words together and explain my thought on each of them individually or in a combined way, at many points, you may disagree. All such disagreements are accepted and encouraged. However, those disagreements must open channels for dialogue on career-related topics. My intention here is to start a discussion from that disagreement. This book is not a conclusion craved in rock but a starting point for future talks on career and related successes.
If you are to observe the presentation style, though the book is about you and your career, there is a good chance of you noticing most of the explanation done metaphorically equating to a journey. There is a reason for that. As you will read in the introduction part of this book, my good understanding of a career is a journey we undertake to add/subtract value, knowledge, skill, and experience. There will be in-between stops; we call results and objectives, but these intermediate milestones are temporary seats. They are not the only reason we undertake career expeditions; the process of undergoing the journey is equally vital.
Since I love and revere words and lines, you will find this book graphical, illustration-oriented, and a bit cartoonish.
