Born in 1935, Satish Verma started his poetic journey way back in early 60s of the last century. At the same time, the demands of life and family goaded him to go in for a bread earning job. He became a Professor of Botany at Dayanand (PG) College, Ajmer where he served for nearly 35 years. In 1980s, he started a holistic Centre of Homeopathy called Sewa Mandir, at Ajmer for the poor and the needy, which in due course of time grew to become the largest holistic Centre in Asia. Pitted against the forces bigger than himself, Satish Verma has been fighting with life on his own terms. His encounters with pain and agony during his practice as a homeopath has sustained the poet in him. A prolific writer, nevertheless with any compromise with profundity, he, during the past three decades or so has been composing nearly two poems per day. With as many as fifty collections of poems in Hindi and fifty another in English published so far, he also has approximately 7000 poems uploaded on Poet's Hunter. A nonagenarian, he lives in Ajmer and still writes. Anuraag Sharma is a bilingual poet and creative writer from Ajmer, India. .A retired Professor of English, he has to his credit nearly 28 books, including collections of poems, short stories, critical studies, a trilogy of plays, volumes of translations, etc. published so far. He has guided as many as 25 scholars for the award of the degree of Ph D and M.Phil. A globe trotting Seminarian, he has represented India at various international forums in China, Denmark, Australia, the U.S. and Fiji. His poems and articles have appeared in numerous international magazines and research journals. For the last fifteen years, he has been the Editor of the biannual international journal of Poetry & Creative Writing -- PROSOPISIA -- which is the  flagship of ARAWLII (Academy of (W)riters and World Literati) of which he is the life long President. A cancer survivor, he is a full time writer and currently lives in Ajmer.
