Born in the Soviet Union, Carlos Borodino immigrated to India to escape the rampant alcoholism of the USSR.  This clearly failed and now he finds himself staring out of windows, with a glass of whiskey in hand pondering the broader contours of the human condition. Contours that include where humanity as a species is headed, what nations are devolving into in a post-climate change world, the revived utility of violence in an unforgiving age and the new fangled forces that drive a chasm between men and women.
