David Baker, an ardent follower of world history, culture and mythology, has been fascinated by fiction—especially fantasy and adventure—and treasure hunts since he was a young boy. These fascinations inspired him to pen down his creative thoughts.
However, it was only in January 2021 that he began drafting his debut young adult fantasy novel, The Chronicles of Cancatia: Divided.
He has won awards for his writing and elocution. His other interests include painting, chess, handicrafts, widening his knowledge of the world, and participating in literary competitions and workshops.
He lives in Chennai with his family. He, as a lover of animals, has three indie dogs.
