As a citizenship and residency by investment consultant, Gopal’s primary role involves guiding clients through the intricate process of obtaining a second citizenship or residency through investment. Gopal was himself granted the residency of Singapore (‘13) and the residency of Canada (‘17).
Trained as an investment analyst, Gopal previously worked in investment management with Cambridge Associates, one of the world’s leading institutional investment advisory firms, where he worked across all key investment asset classes, traditional and alternative, providing institutional investment advice to sovereign wealth funds, endowments, pensions, foundations and private clients across Asia and Europe while working with asset managers across markets in Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America and Africa.
He previously interned in strategy and finance roles at the Institute of International Education (IIE), among the world’s largest and most experienced international education and training organizations, and at Tata Steel, a leading global steel producer. His first book ‘Energy Independence – Visions of a Hybrid, Unbound Future’ was released by the 11th President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in July 2005.
At Harvard, Gopal studied Leadership under Dr. John Paul Rollert and Organizational Behavior under Dr. Myra S. White; holds a BBA (‘12) from the NUS Business School, National University of Singapore (NUS), MBA (Jan ‘22) from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, Washington, DC, USA, and is a recipient of the MIT Sloan Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) (Apr ‘14) designation. He loves travel and photography and volunteered as an Official Photographer for the Inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG)
