This humorous journey of a lifetime starts with a retired IOB banker, Mr. Ramachandran. (fondly called ‘Chandru’), who has dedicated his life to collecting and sharing jokes. With an elephantine memory and a knack for finding humour in any situation, he has always been the life of our family get-togethers, regaling the audience with rib tickling anecdotes, often at his own expense. Of course, all this was delivered with a serious face and demeanour! 
As a valued faculty member of the IOB staff college, he was the students favourite, as he often used humour to explain tedious and lengthy topics to the students. No wonder he was always faced with a full class!
His family has been bemused with his ability to find humour in every situation, so much so, when he was once recovering in an ICU, he was found surrounded by the nursing and ward management staff, laughing away at his jokes. Of course, while their wish was for him to keep visiting often, it’s not something Chandru plans to fulfil!
Now, his grandchildren pick up the mantle and carry on his legacy attempting goofy jokes and humorous anecdotes at various gatherings. In this entertaining compilation, readers will discover the wit and wisdom of Chandru’s life’s work. May this gift of a smile forever be with you!
