Born into a quintessential Indian middle-class family, the author spent the first thirty years in India and the rest overseas. Having globe-trotted widely for various scientific meetings, he accumulated rich working experiences in multiple research labs and scientific administration roles. He is a self-made man who is respected in society and always aspires to be in the midst of friends and colleagues.</p>
