Ved Mathur has recently retired as General Manager, Punjab National Bank, after having headed important Divisions such as Recovery and Law. He graduated in Science before going on to obtain post-graduate degrees in Commerce and Law, a post graduate diploma in journalism and a CAIIB degree. He was awarded the prestigious Cooverjee Hormusjee Bhabha Fellowship by the Indian Banks’ Association and is a recipient of the `PNB Gaurav’ award.
