Alok Gupta is a Bancassurance Consultant and has held a senior executive position in a Japanese Life Insurance Joint Venture with two major public sector Banks in India. He has also been a senior executive in a renowned private sector Bank named the Bank of Rajasthan Ltd, which got merged with ICICI Bank in 2010. He was responsible for coordinating with Ms Hema Malini for signing her up as brand Ambassador and also for supporting the launch of various new initiatives of the Bank, including Life Insurance tie-ups. He was Head Cards of the Bank and was also responsible for the launch of its ATM, Debit Card, and Credit Card. He was associated with development of digital stamp franking process, with government officials, on behalf of the Bank. He had opportunities to make presentations to Chief Ministers of few important states and the then Finance Minister of Rajasthan to make the stamp franking acceptable and implemented through the Banks.
He is one of the few financial services executives in the country who has contributed to both Banking and Life Insurance. He is an Agriculture graduate and a university Gold Medallist, post-graduate in Management, a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India, and also Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
