He has authored twenty- three books in English, Malayalam, and Hindi including novels, short stories and essays. Three of his books have become best sellers in Malayalam. Dr. Bose has received more than hundred prizes, including fifteen gold medals, in literary competitions. Recipient of twenty national and international awards for his outstanding contributions in different fields, his innovations were selected by United Nations as ‘Global Best Practice’ four times. The government of India awarded him the National (Special) Habitat Award. He was the head of the Supreme Court Committee on the treasures of ‘Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.’ A renowned educationist and scholar, Dr. Bose was Vice Chancellor, Principal Secretary (education) and Chairman of the Atomic Energy Education Society.
