The earlier book on workplace spirituality by the author, The Spiritual Indian Corporate – Ideal Workplace Redefined, dealt with the conceptual understanding and the need for the concept of workplace spirituality in today’s VUCA world. The current book introduces readers to the model of implementation. The book elaborates on how workplace spirituality can rebuild the psychological contract between employers and employees and how engaging the spirit of the employee can lead to sustained competitive advantage for the organisation. This book introduces a clear measurement scale to measure workplace spirituality. It delves into the foreseen challenges of implementation and the ethics of implementation and provides examples of companies that have a culture similar to “Corporate Spirituality.” The book concludes by answering frequently asked questions on the subject.
This book is a practical guide to implementing the concept of “Workplace Spirituality” at any workplace, not limited to corporates. In this ever-changing world, which is trying to coexist with technological challenges like artificial intelligence, it becomes even more imperative that there is a fresh perspective on seeing humans at work, which is concurrent and relevant. This book reinforces that perspective to be “Workplace Spirituality.” The book The Corporate Spirituality – Models, Measurement, Challenges, Ethics and Answers hereby promotes Spiritual HRM as the next stage of understanding humans at work.

Spirituality in the workplace has been studied for more than two decades and it is yet to achieve the status as an implementable solution for corporate issues. India is at the center of the corporate growth story. However, without acknowledging and accommodating the spiritual side of employees, their most vital and hidden potential would be missed at the workplace.
The management in the Indian Corporate is facing rampant instability due to rapidly changing external and internal environments. The employees are preoccupied with a constant search for new avenues and are performing tasks only to complete the to-do list. The psychological contract between the employer and employee is broken and the employee is not ready to go beyond the minimum expectations.
The corporate workforce is desperately seeking extended support for their personal, social, and work-related issues. The current HR practices seem to have limited impact/solution to the current scenario. Therefore, ‘The Spiritual Indian Corporate’ proposes a fresh paradigm, “Workplace Spirituality”, to manage the current scenario.
