Dr. Ashokan C K graduated from Govt. Dental College, Trivandrum, Kerala University in 1985. He received his postgraduate degree in Periodontology from AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in 1995. In addition, he has received Post Graduate Certification in Advanced Oral Implantology from the College of Dental Surgery, Manipal, in 2001. He has also undergone advanced training in Implantology from Friadent Research Centre, Germany, and David Chriser Dental Centre at the New York University. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Osseointegration [ICOI] and an Associate Fellow of World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI). He has undergone two modules of the Master Clinician Course on Cortico-basal Implantology from the International Implant Foundation [IF] Germany, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Stefan Ihde. 
He has been practicing Clinical Dentistry as a specialist in Periodontology and Implantology for more than 25 years. He is also an academician with several published peer-reviewed research publications at prestigious venues and an editorial board member of journal of Indian Society of Periodontology. Dr. Ashokan has served as Professor and Chair in the Dept. of Periodontology & Implantology at Amrita Institute of Dental Sciences, Cochin, and Sree Anjaneya Institute of Dental Sciences, Calicut. He has also served as a member of the Dental Council of India, representing the Government of Kerala. He is a life member and past vice president of the Indian Society of Periodontology. He has travelled extensively across the globe and has been a keynote speaker at numerous Implantology / Periodontology conferences.
