Hello everyone, my name is Bindu Malik, and I am passionate about nurturing young hearts and minds through the power of storytelling. With more than 20 years of experience in elementary teaching, I am now dedicating my life to counselling young children. I focus on encouraging active learning and addressing each child's individual needs.
In today's world, where children are increasingly drawn to screens and technology, I believe it's more important than ever to reconnect them with the natural world. As a storyteller and counsellor, I weave nature into my tales because I see it as our greatest teacher. Nature provides invaluable lessons in resilience, kindness, curiosity, and emotional growth. Through my stories, I aim to help children navigate their social and emotional needs by drawing on the wisdom of the natural world.
In my counselling role, I strive to support students in their journey by listening to their concerns and helping them process their problems, set goals, and take action. My goal is to guide children toward becoming productive and successful individuals who can find solutions to challenges such as making new friends, sharing, overcoming separation anxiety, and embracing inclusion.
