Kanhaiya Prasad Sinha currently holding the post of Principal, M.D. College Naubatpur, Patna under Pataliputra University, Patna (erst while Magadh University.) has put almost 35 yrs of service inclusive of more than 9 years as Principal. Previously he has served Sahajannand Brahmarshi College, Ara and JLN College,Dehri-on-Sone as Principal under Veer Kunwar Singh University Ara. He is the first Principal in Bihar to introduce On Line admission Admission at College/University level. He was also the University Co-coordinator for On Line Admission in VKS Univ Ara. He has also been member of the Syndicate both in VKS Univ, Ara and Magadh University Bodh Gaya
For achievement in academic and Extra Curricular activities, as Raj Bhawan State Coordinator, for Inter University Sports and Cultural Activities, his services have been recognized by successive Governors of Bihar and even outside state as also by the Vice –Chancellor of the different Universities.
 
He has been leader of the team of Bihar and Jharkhand to Argentina under the Exchange Program- a Prestigious program of the Rotary Foundation. He is involved with number of Social organization. In addition to being member of National Polio Plus Committee from 2007–10, he was Governor of the Rotary International during the year 2006–07
