He got award for many books and his book”Ilanthai pettagam” has got first prize in classical poetry competition. He is the moderator of Tamil poetry google group “santhavasantham” and has trained many People to learn classical poetry grammar in Tamil. His work on virutham, a Tamil classical prosody was serialized in an internet group and on the request of the beneficiaries this work is being published.  Many of his poems have been audio recorded and released in the form of CDs. He has participated in many international conferences like PURANAOORU conference and KURUNTHOKAI conference at Washington DC. His magnum opus “Inthiya suthanthira porattam” is popular.
