Narasimha Siddhanti Malladi obtained his 1965 Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, India, M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA. He designed computer, ATM, and railway mechanisms for the US industry and taught both in India and the US. He also spent two summers as a Research Fellow at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
